Based on an assessment of public health risks, the Chief Health Officer has declared the following areas will be designated green zones under Victoria’s ‘traffic light’ travel permit system effective 11:59pm, 11 April 2021:
- Greater Brisbane (City of Brisbane, City of Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region, Redlands City)
- The Gladstone region in Queensland
- Byron Shire in New South Wales

- The Victorian Government announced that the 75 per cent cap on office workers will be removed from Friday 26 March.
- All workplaces are still required to ensure people can work from the office in a COVIDSafe way with a density limit of one person per two square metres.
- While it is not mandatory for offices to use the Victorian government QR Code or a system which is API compatible, digital record keeping is strongly recommended to help contact tracing. Click here to register for the free Victorian Government QR Code.
- All businesses must continue to review and update their COVIDSafe Plan, particularly as more people return to offices.
- Download and display the signage available to remind people to check-in and other safety measures.
- Remember, if your workers have even mild COVID-19 symptoms, please support them to get tested.
- Public Transport Victoria has made changes to support the safe return to offices and has advice for users at ptv.vic.gov.au/more/coronavirus-covid-19.
